Skip N Last Call

Ollie is a 3 year old APHA registered gelding. At the beginning of the year, he was sent to a trainer to be started, but was handled roughly and went back to his owner not knowing much of anything other than how to be terrified of people. When he came to me, you couldn't walk up to him and anytime you touched him he shook in fear. 

Ollie has been with me for several months now and has started to regain his confidence and trust in people. He will now stand tied to be groomed and saddled, lets you lift all four feet, and loads in the trailer. His ground manners have greatly improved as well. 

All of the ground work and foundation work for a riding career have been done with Ollie. He isn't reactive to much, as you can see in the picture above. He can still be flinchy if you move too fast around him, but he is getting better every day. I have been driving him around with my "dummy" trainer(an actual doll) on him, and he doesn't seem to mind. I have stepped up on him several times, but have not rode him off. 

Ollie is ready to find a home where he will continue to be worked and can build a partnership with his new owner. He is going to need a soft, patient, and experienced hand. He is a very sweet boy who needs someone who will invest the time in him to help him reach his full potential.
